The Journal of Management and Planning Research (JMPR) is committed to providing authors with a fair, thorough, and timely review process. While actual times may vary slightly depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript, our typical timeline is as follows:
Initial editorial check
After submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial office to assess its fit with the journal’s scope, basic formatting, originality, and readiness for peer review. This step is normally completed within one week of receipt.
Peer review
Manuscripts that pass the initial check are sent for blind peer review to at least two expert reviewers. We aim to complete the review process, including the collection of reports and the editorial decision (accept, revise, or reject), within 10 weeks. If revisions are requested, the overall timeline may depend on how quickly authors submit a revised version.
Publication
Once a manuscript is accepted and final proofs are approved, it is scheduled for publication in the next available issue. Articles are published online immediately after acceptance and production within the upcoming issue of the current volume.
We publish one volume per year, consisting of one issue. This means that, under normal conditions, the overall process from submission to publication typically fits within a few months, while maintaining rigorous peer review and high editorial standards.
